The Highest Award in Squirrels is the Chief Scout Acorn Award, and requires the competion of the 4 challenges badges to be gained as well as 2 activity badges.

Due to the diversity of the programme, over the course of your Squirrels time in the Drey, they should earn all the badges needed to get their Highest Award before they move on to Beavers, the 6-8 section.
Our Squirrels Drey was one of the very first in the UK, being selected after the pilot scheme of ‘Hedgehogs’ – the trial predecessor to squirrels.
Our Drey has a fun-filled programme for our 4-6 year-olds to get begin their scouting journey.
Our Squirrels Leader, Katie, runs all sorts of activities; from planting in the squirrel's own garden to den-building and games.
All of these moments are great for developing young people’s confidence, but we know how daunting it can be for the one packing their overnight bag and waving them off at the gates. And we know it doesn’t necessarily get easier as they grow.
Young people thrive in secure surroundings, at home and away. Wherever we go, we’re serious about keeping them safe.
